Quality care in the comfort of your own home.
Mid-South Area Residential Services offers a continuum of care in the home and care in the community. Our long–term adult care includes assistance in doing daily living activities that seniors may not be able to do for themselves due to aging or physical disability. Our support aims to meet their specific needs in order to help them regain independence, age gracefully in the comfort of their own homes, and improve their overall quality of life.
OUR SUPPORT
Personal Care
Our caregivers provide assistance to persons having difficulty following instrumental activities of daily living, such as: bathing, dressing, toileting, oral care, personal hygiene care, grooming and safety monitoring.
Attendant Care
Our caregivers provide assistance to persons having difficulty following instrumental activities of daily living, such as: doing laundry, sweeping, mopping, or shopping for grocery or personal items. Other activities covered in this service option include routine household management tasks such as menu planning, budgeting, shopping, and light housekeeping.
In-Home Respite
In-home respite may be provided by giving the caregiver an opportunity to take care of personal matters or simply to rest. Sometimes it is difficult for family members who have a loved one with disabilities to find a qualified caregiver to take care of their loved one in their absence. At Mid-South Area Residential Services, our care providers are specifically trained to work in home settings. One-on-one companionship may include assisting the care recipient with hobbies, reading, or promoting socialization. Respite care is considered to be temporary, substitute supports, or living arrangements to provide a brief period of relief or rest for caregivers.
